Japanese Cartoon

So what is Japanese Cartoon? Is it Lupe singing with a British accent or only financing the band. Many different sites have their opinion about Lupe's new work. H.I.F, 2DopeBoys, and Japanese Cartoons myspace all say something different. I don't know what is right or wrong just thought I would show a couple different opinions on this topic. I think he's trying to get himself into a different type of work and do something another musician has done...

Lupe Fiasco is putting out new music, but he’d doing it with a British accent. I dunno who he was trying to fool, but I now Lupe when I hear Lupe. I has a suspicion when I heard “Army” on the myspace player; however, all speculation in my eyes was tossed to the side when the extra dope record “Heirplanes” came on. Lupe is getting very political with his lyrics on the track, and that’s something I’ve always admired about him, especially with everything going on in the world right now.

When you’re one of the greatest emcees of the modern generation readying your bow from hip-hop with three albums, what do you do meanwhile? In Lupe Fiasco’s case, you simply watch a film, get invigorated, start a band, begin making not so bad post-indie punk music in a faux British accent, think of a peculiar band name (cue “Japanese Cartoon”), create a MySpace page, & upload the music. Then act like it isn’t you but rather Percival Fats. Cool.

Amidst The Rebuild & Stun, Clarification. Japanese Cartoon's myspace page has been hacked. Percival Fats (Born Percival Hindenburg-Fats) Is NOT Lupe Fiasco (Born Wasalu Muhammad Jaco). Although he is a dear friend. Japanese Cartoon will reload songs onto the player as soon as we figure out how via the technical support fellows at Myspace. Please DO NOT disseminate their music ILLEGALLY. These guys have worked very hard and placed a large amount of energy and financial dedication into this project. Lupe does finance the band but is NOT I REPEAT NOT THE SINGER IN JAPANESE CARTOON. He is however the producer and we value his participation very much. We will not be taking any friend requests until this security matter is cleared up as we might not be able to keep this page. -Percival Fats. I agree with 2DopeBoys on this one. Lupe has something up his sleeve and is coming out with something big regardless his 3 disc. album which is supost to be his finally album. I don't know about H.I.F and it's info but you never what might be real until we hear Lupe speak on it....
